and Pragya Jaiswal starrer Akhanda seems to be creating a sensation even before it hits screens.

The teaser released on Ugadi and has raked in more than a whopping 40M views at the time of writing, making it the most-watched trailer of Balakrishna. The actor plays an Aghora in what is expected to be a mass entertainer, seeing as how the teaser shows him mouthing his trademark dialogues in it. recently.

and Balakrishna had previously scored blockbusters with films like Simha and Legend, so expectations are high on this one. On Balakrishna’s birthday in the month of June last year, a teaser had hinted at some high-octane action scenes and powerful dialogues from Balakrishna. Pragya Jaiswal also shot with the film’s team and shooting is happening at a brisk pace.

The film is slated for release on May 28 but with releases of films in April pushed back, it remains to be seen if the May releases also get pushed back. Further details are awaited.
