Battle for the best among low-budget Telugu films
As many as four Telugu films are set to hit screens this weekend,
There are no guesses about the most-anticipated choice among movie-goers, Venkatesh Maha’s C/O Kancharapalem it is, all thanks to
Sunil meanwhile is back to doing what he’s best at- comedy. Though it’ll take a while for the actor to earn trust among audiences after an intermittently successful solo-hero stint, Allari Naresh and Sunil still make for an interesting comic-duo on paper. Maybe the last preference among movie goers, Premaku Raincheck has a premise that might generate reasonable interest too, of a boss who isn’t willing to take time out for romance at work. It’s a film made by a young team, has good music, is backed by Sharath Marrar.
While the good aspect is the variety that these films offer, though in terms of box-office, they all might end up eating into each other’s collections. Low-budget films may have little say in the industry, yet it’s advisable that a clash of this nature is avoided in the times to come.
