'Bedurulanka (2012)' Teaser: Kartikeya's dramedy promises to be crazy!
New Year Special
The story is set in a pleasant Godavari village. A news presenter talks about the rumoured end of the world on December 21, 2012, conveying a not-so-funny tone.
In another track, a cartel of scheming men (played by Ajay Ghosh, Auto Ram Prasad and Srikanth Iyengar) is etching a self-serving masterplan. It is probably about deploying superstition and capitalizing on the people's fear of God ahead of the so-called apocalypse, which is going to be the "biggest hoax ever".
Watch the Teaser
Amidst all the tense drama and unbridled frolic, there is Neha Shetty of 'DJ Tillu' fame in a rom-com track. The hero is fond of smoking but is willingly ready to give up his addiction for his crush if she can suitably over-compensate him with loads of romance.
The visuals (by Sai Prakash Ummadisingu and Sunny Kurapati) are good, while Mani Sharma's background score is expected to be the highlight.
