Bheeshma Movie Review : Venky Kudumula doing what he does best
Bheeshma (Nithiin) is a man who's frustrated at being single all his life. When he sees Chaitra (Rashmika Mandanna), it's love at first sight for him. She works for Bheeshma Organics, which is founded by an old man about to retire (Anant Nag) and appoint a new CEO. Believing the exact opposite of his ideals is the CEO of Field Science, Raghavan (Jisshu Sengupta). But Bheeshma and Chaitra's families, apart from the Organics company seem to share a past the youngsters know nothing of. How all these stories intersect remains to be seen.

The first half of Bheeshma tries to keep you engaged but it doesn't always work, especially when it expects you to suspend disbelief way too often. There's a particular track involving texts that elicits a few chuckles despite being predictable, but most of the jokes don't always land, especially when they shame people for their beauty or size. The flow between various tracks is a little jagged and while the first half, even the scene before the interval, throws a lot of questions, it remains to be seen if Venky Kudumula will manage to answer them all without getting all the plots entangled.
