Sharwanand is quite confident about his upcoming film 'Biker,' touted to be India's first Motocross movie. The 'Nari Nari Naduma Murari' actor called it the best film of his career so far. As reported by IANS, speaking at a trailer launch event in Chennai, he said, "Biker is my best film till now! Why is it the best film? There are several reasons. This is the first Indian motocross film to be made."
A film made with high risk
The actor highlighted the challenges faced during the shoot: "What I can promise you is that every Indian will be proud to say this is our Indian cinema. It is not an easy film to shoot. It is the toughest film to shoot. We shot sequences in Indonesia. A lot of accidents happened while we shot this film. We will be showing all that in a making video which we intend to release. It is not an easy sport to show or to act."
The makers are also planning to release a making video to showcase these intense behind-the-scenes moments.
A personal transformation
Sharwanand described 'Biker' as a turning point in his life that demanded a major physical and emotional transformation.
He said, "Biker is a turning point in my life. It changed me as a person. I had to lose 22 kilos for this film. When Abhi (director) narrated this script, there are two variations in the film.
I had to play an 18-year-old guy and a 30-year-old guy. It transformed my whole perspective of cinema making, about my life, my health and body. This film is close to my heart."

Release plans and delay
'Biker' is set to release worldwide on April 3 this year. The film was earlier scheduled for a December 6 release. However, the makers postponed it to enhance the overall experience. Production house UV Creations had announced, "#Biker stands postponed! A new release date will be announced soon. A bigger, better experience is being crafted with care and assembled with passion. #Biker will be releasing in 3D, 4DX, and many more formats."
Story and emotional hook
The trailer, unveiled on the last day, introduces Sharwanand as Vikky, a serious bike racer driven by speed and discipline. The story explores his strained relationship with his father which forms the emotional backbone of the film. When his father calls him weak, it pushes him to prove himself and this plot seems quite interesting. Sharwanand was last seen in 'Nari Nari Naduma Murari,' which received 3 out of 5 stars from ETimes.
