‘Bimbisara’, ‘Sita Ramam’, 6 Telugu films releasing this week

Like every week there is yet another Friday with a huge list of releases in Telugu film industry. Though Kalyan Ram’s ‘Bimbisara’ and Dulquer’s ‘Sita Ramam’ are making good noise through their aggressive promotional strategies, unlike other movies which are also set to release in a few days. Let's have a look at all the Telugu films that are releasing this week.

'Bimbisara' – August 05

'Bimbisara' is a fantasy action drama film written and directed by debutant Mallidi Vashist, and produced by N. T. R. Arts, which stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram as the ancient king Bimbisara alongside Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, and Warina Hussain.

The film is said to be made on Time travel is shot by Chota K. Naidu, edited by Tammi Raju and its music has been composed by MM Keeravani, Chirrantan Bhatt, and Varikuppala Yadagiri. The film is releasing this week.

​'Sita Ramam' –August 05

‘Sita Ramam’ is an upcoming Telugu romance film written and directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. It is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles. Rashmika Mandanna & Sumanth play other important roles in the film. The film has its cinematography handled by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and the film is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2022.

​'PanchaThanthram' – August 5

‘Panchathantram’ is an anthology film, where each story deals with a life event tied around one sense organ such as sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch. They embark on the quest of peace, Fear, Will, Love, and Tenacity through a modern-day fairy tale.

The film features Brahmanandam, Swathi Reddy, Samuthirakani, Rahul Vijay, Shivathmika Rajashekar, and Divya Sripada playing important roles. The film has music by Prasanth Vihari and it was written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka and released in theatres on 5th August.

​'Spark 1.0' – August 5


‘Spark 1.0’ is a drama film on powerful police officers those having conflicts and enmity with one another in their profession. While one is accused of murder and the another is assigned to investigate the murder.

The film stars Preetei Sundar, Bhavyasri, Hitendra, Ramu Veeravalli, and Amiba Suresh playing pivotal roles. While Gopi Amitabh shot the film, Kancharla Anil edited it and Suresh Mapoor wrote and directed the film that is all set to release on 05th August.

'Bullet Train' (Dub) – August 5th

‘Bullet Train’ is a 2022 American action comedy film starring Brad Pitt that is based on the Japanese Novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. The film is directed by David Leitch starring Joey King, Aaron Taylor, Johnson, Brain Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Sandra Bullock. The film is scheduled to be released on August 5.

'DC League of Super-Pets' (Dub) – August 05

DC League of Super-Pets is an American 3D computer-animated superhero comedy film by Warner Animation Group based on DC Comics ‘Legion of Super-pets’. The film was directed by Jared Stern in his theatrical directorial debut. The film is scheduled to be released on August 05 in its Telugu dubbed version.
