This will be the second South-Indian film for the 38-year-old actor who played the role of an anti-hero in Jayaraj’s Malayalam historical-drama ‘

Veeram

’. Sriram Aditya, known for suspense thrillers like ‘Shamantakamani’ and ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’ is directing 'Devadas'. After an impressive teaser and a couple of audio songs, expectations have raised on this crazy multi-starrer which features Nagarjuna as ‘gangster’ Deva and Nani as ‘doctor’ Das.

Starring Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh as female leads, ‘Devadas’ is produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies with Mani Sharma composing the music. It is slated to release on September 27.
