The Telugu film 'Salaar' starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan was released in theatres on December 22. The movie has received a lot of positive reviews and it has earned more than Rs 400 crore at the box office in four days. The Kannada origin mass action film clashed at the box office with the Bollywood family drama 'Dunki'. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' starring Shah Rukh Khan was released in theatres on December 21.
While both the movies have been getting positive reviews from netizens and movie fans, actress Payal Ghosh took to Twitter and shared her opinion which has now become controversial. She said, "The movies released in 2023 are unwatchable. All the worst movies are coming. Dunki and Salaar are the worst. For the first time in his career, Rajukumar Hirani made a flop film. Dunki and Salaar are the two worst movies. But Salaar movie will get huge collections, because Prabhas is a young and powerful person."
The actress's opinion has now struck the internet user and many are dismissing her comments and are also stating that the actress is trying to gain attention amidst her career challenges. While many negative opinions, apart from Payal Ghosh's, are circulating on the internet, both Prabhas and Shah Rukh Khan's fans are standing strong with their view of both the movies being a success.
