A major buzz doing the rounds in the South Indian film industry is that megastar Chiranjeevi and Malayalam superstar Mohanlal are going to collaborate for the first time ever. Up until now, the two have not acted together, having interacted only socially at awards functions and events. Now, Bobby Kolli has confirmed their professional union in a new development. After the mega blockbuster success of 'Walter Veeraiya', there were rumors swirling that the Chiranjeevi-Bobby collaboration is back, and Mohanlal is going to have a pivotal and powerful role in the film.A source from Bollywood Hungama has confirmed that Chiranjeevi will be the lead hero in the movie, and Mohanlal will have a powerful entry halfway through the film. Mohanlal's entry will shift the dynamics just like the action scene from the movie "Andha Kanoon" of Amitabh Bachchan. Apparently, it is not a hero versus hero theme. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is currently occupied with various film projects. Next, he is acting in the film 'Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu' directed by Anil Ravipudi, with a cameo from Venkatesh. Additionally, ‘Vishwambara’ has been held up owing to pending VFX work, followed by a full-fledged action film directed by Srikanth Odela.This is a rare collaboration on Mohanlal’s side as well. He was welcomed with open arms in Telugu for ‘Janatha Garage’, and along with Malayalam films, a solid market in Telugu. This is seen as films like ‘Vrushaba’ are releasing in both languages.
