Actor Vijay's upcoming film, 'Jana Nayagan,' has been hit by an unfortunate online leak before its theatrical release, causing widespread concern. Prominent figures like Chiranjeevi and Sivakarthikeyan have voiced their strong disapproval of piracy, emphasizing the collective effort behind filmmaking.
Actor Vijay’s next movie, ‘Jana Nayagan’, has been in limbo since January to hit the big screens. However, unfortunately, the film seems to have landed in more trouble after it got leaked online. Even before its theatre release, clips and full HD prints of the film started spreading on the internet. This sudden leak has shocked many people in the film industry, as Tollywood star Chiranjeevi also reacted to it.

Chiranjeevi expresses disappointment

Chiranjeevi shared his feelings on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. He wrote, "The unfortunate leak of #Jananayagan is something that deeply concerns me. Cinema is built on trust, effort, and the collective dreams of many. Such incidents affect all of us in the industry and remind us how crucial it is to protect our creative work." He then added, "My thoughts and support are with the movie team. Let us all take responsibility to respect and protect cinema. Kill Piracy. Save Cinema."

Actors raise their voices against piracy

Additionally, other actor have also shared their concern. Sivakarthikeyan also tweeted, "Every film is made with the passion, blood and sweat of hundreds of people - please avoid piracy. Kindly wait for the theatrical release and watch it in theatres. Whoever is responsible for this must face strict action. Respect the talents. Respect the hard work. Respect the industry...#JanaNayagan...." Vijay Antony also asked fans to support the film in the right way. He requested everyone to watch it only through legal platforms after release.

About ‘Jana Nayagan’

The film is directed by H. Vinoth and has actors like Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol and Priyamani. It has not yet got CBFC clearance and was already delayed.
