Chiranjeevi remembers Mahatma Gandhi on his 152nd birth anniversary

October 2, 2021, marks the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and social media is flooded with tributes. Mega Star Chiranjeevi was one of the first Tollywood celebrities to wish happy Gandhi Jayanti 2021 to his fans.
Mahatma Gandhi, known as the father of the Nation, fought for India’s freedom without violence. His principles of non-violence are taught across the world today.He was born as Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in Porbandar on October 2, 1869. His birthday is also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence.
Chiranjeevi shared a photo of Mahatma Gandhi on his Twitter handle and wrote, ''The values & ideals of Simplicity, Truth & Non-Violence taught by our Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi become a greater necessity with each passing year. Paying respectful tributes on his birth anniversary to the Eternal Visionary & our greatest guiding light! #GandhiJayanthi.''

Chiranjeevi also paid tributes to Lal Bahadur Shastri on his 117th birth anniversary. Lal Bahadur Shastri was the 2nd Prime Minister of India and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress political party.
The Acharya actor shared a photo and wrote, ''One of Free India’s founding fathers & our 2nd Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri was 2nd to none in wisdom, integrity, humility & commitment. On the work front, Chiranjeevi will be next seen in 'Acharya.' Director Koratala Siva has been shooting the film for the past several months, and the shooting will be wrapped before the end of this month. Major portions of the film have been shot, and the team is currently busy with the patchwork. The film stars Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde and others. Mani Sharma has composed music for this film for which, the cinematography was handled by S Thirunavukarasu. Navin Nooli is in charge of editing.
