Chiranjeevi starts shooting for 'Mega 156'

Actor Chiranjeevi was last seen in the film 'Bhola Shankar'. The actor is now all set to start shooting his next film, 'Mega 156', which is directed by Sushmita Konidela. As per a new update, the 'Mega 156' team went on floors today (October 23) after a grand pujah ceremony.

The tentatively titled 'Mega 156' is touted to be an epic fantasy film. Reportedly, the pre-production work for the film has been completed, and the shooting will soon start. The movie is said to be a sequel to Chiranjeevi's Jagadega Veerudu Atiloka Sundari. However, the official confirmation has yet to be made. The movie's music will be composed by MM Keeravani.

On the work front, Chiranjeevi has his films 'Mega 157' with director Vassishta and 'Mega 158' with director Boyapati Srinu. Chiranjeevi's last project 'Bhola Shankar' was released in August and the movie did not run well in theatres. Directed by Meher Ramsesh, the film starred Chiranjeevi, Tamannah Bhatia and Keerthy Suresh in lead roles. The movie was made with a budget of Rs 100 crore and the film made a box office collection of only Rs 41 crore. Bhola Shankar was the remake of Tamil film Vedalam which starred Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon.
