Recent reports have indicated that Bollywood star Kriti Sanon is the top choice to play the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda in his upcoming pan-India project with director Shouryuv, of 'Hi Nanna' fame. Kriti Sanon started her acting journey in Telugu cinema with '1: Nenokkadine' opposite Mahesh Babu, and later appeared in Dochey alongside Naga Chaitanya. She also played Sita in Adipurush with Prabhas. Despite reaching the top tier of Bollywood, Kriti Sanon has maintained a highly selective approach toward Telugu cinema.
