After much suspense and huge investments in its promotions, the ‘RRR’ team has backed out the Jan 07, 2022 release due to the obvious case of the surge in the Omicron cases, which has, in turn, led to theatres getting closed in some cities (only 50% occupancy is being allowed in few other cities). In addition, there is huge confusion with the new G.O. #35 by the AP Government which seems to be not resolving any time soon.
With all the above issues surrounding the S.S.Rajamouli’s new magnum opus ‘RRR’, starring Jr.NTR and
Ram Charan, the makers have backed out from the scheduled January release for a future date, which they are yet to announce.
For now, Pawan Kalyan and
Rana Daggubati starrer ‘Bheemla Nayak’ and Nagarjuna-NagaChaitanya starrer ‘
Bangarraju’ will reportedly occupy the theatres that were catered for ‘RRR’. There is no official update yet from the #RadheShyam makers about its release amid the rumours of its postponement.
By now, ‘Bangarraju’ makers have released the movie teaser and it introduces all the lead characters from the film.

The movie teaser guarantees out and out entertainment. The film directed by
Kalyan Krishna Kurasala seems to have done its job right and the team is yet to announce the release date.
