Tamil superstar Dhanush is on cloud nine after the sensational box office and critical response to his 'Thiruchitrambalam' and will next be seen in the highly-anticipated 'Naane Varuvean'. The makers announced yesterday that leading producer Allu Aravind will present the Telugu film "Nene Vasthunna."
The makers delighted within 24 hours with the thrilling teaser of the film in both languages. The thrilling visuals will undoubtedly send shivers down your spine as the Veera Soora song plays in the background. In this film, Dhanush plays both the protagonist and the antagonist.
The director, Selva Raghavan, surprised everyone with riveting looks in the teaser. Overall, everyone was impressed by the teaser's bloodied action, Dhanush's looks, and Yuvan Shankar Raja's heart-thumping score. The film's creators have also confirmed that the film will be released in September.
Scripted by Dhanush himself, the film is directed by Selvaraghavan, marking their collaboration 12 years after Mayakkam Enna (2011). Apart from sharing credits in the writing, the brothers are also acting together for the first time in 'Naane Varuven'. Billed as a psychological thriller, the film reportedly has Dhanush in a dual role, one of which is said to be the antagonist. Indhuja Ravichandran, Elli AvRam, Prabhu, Yogi Babu and Shelly Kishore essay other pivotal roles.
Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations is backing the film. There are speculations that it will release on September 30, thereby clashing with Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan-1 at the box office. However, an official confirmation of the release plans are yet to be out.
