Director Harish Shankar reacts to Chota K Naidu's allegations about Jr NTR and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Ramayya Vasthavayya': 'I am constantly insulted'

A public feud has erupted between cinematographer Chota K Naidu and director Harish Shankar over their collaboration on the 2013 film ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya,’ starring Jr NTR and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The dispute originated from Naidu's accusation that Harish interfered with his work during the film's production.

In response, Harish took to Twitter to express his grievances towards Naidu in a lengthy post.

Previously, in an interview with iDream Media, Naidu said that Harish interfered with him on set during the filming of ‘Ramayya Vasthavayya.’ He stated that Harish Shankar used to come up with something every time as he imagined how he wanted something to look and would keep interfering. Naidu tried to explain things, but he was never in a mood to listen, so Naidu gave up on that and just did his work.


Soon, Harish took to his Twitter account and wrote, “On one occasion, there was mention of you (Chota) being removed and shooting with a different cameraman. However, because Gabbar Singh (2012) was a hit, people would think I was arrogant for removing a cameraman. I completed the film with you because of what Raju garu (Dil Raju) said.”

He further added that he never talked or complained about Naidu publicly, “I didn’t say anything wrong about you anywhere. But you have repeatedly spoken ill of me. Even if the person interviewing doesn’t ask, even if it has nothing to do with me, I am constantly insulted.”

On the work front, Harish is currently gearing up for the release of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’.
