Puri Jagannath has reportedly filed a police complaint against the ‘Liger’ distributors who are blackmailing him over their ‘Liger losses. The police complaint includes the names of film financier G. Sobhan Babu and others. They are said to be threatening him to instigate violence against the director and his family in Hyderabad.
The above complaint states that he resides in Mumbai currently, but his family is staying in Hyderabad and the said distributors are planning to attack his house, n to harass his family, and extract the valuables from his home.
Therefore, the 'Liger' director Purijagannath asks the Hyderabad police to provide enough protection for his family, so that he can deal with the above issue amicably.

In the call record, the director agreed to compensate for the losses but it is only out of empathy, not a mandatory thing for him to do.

Shankar' director has also mentioned the names of Warangal Sreenu and a few others those had defaulted on the film distribution agreement and the amount that was suppose to be paid for other sub-distributors. The ‘Neninthe’ director also alleged that the Warangal Sreenu has gathered other small distributors by provoking them and falsely representing that the 'Liger' director owes them the money.
