’, which was released on the 4th of November, has reportedly collected the lowest ever numbers at the Tollywood Box office. Despite releasing during a big festival like ‘Diwali’, the film has reportedly opened to weak numbers in both AP & Telangana, and it is said to be the lowest ever in recent times.

This is because the film reportedly has poor content with predictable narration that has led to a bad word of mouth publicity about ‘Peddanna’.

Similarly, the other Telugu dubbed multi-starrer Tamil film ‘Enemy’ too fell flat at the theaters as the film carried fewer expectations compared to other co-releases and upon its release, the film failed to impress the audience as ‘Enemy’ has nothing new to offer to the audience just like Rajini’s ‘Peddanna’.

Coming to the straight Telugu film ‘Manchi Rojulu Vachayi, made with the up-and-coming Telugu actor Santosh Shoban, too underperformed at the theaters due to a poor response in the paid preview shows. The film also reportedly opened to quite a low opening considering its theatrical rights, though content-wise it carries a better word of mouth than the rest released for this Diwali.
