Dr Rajasekhar clarifies rumours of accident on the set of 'Kalki'

had met with an accident, injuring his head, during the shoot of Prasanth Varma’s upcoming film ‘Kalki’.

Many also circulated pictures of the actor from a previous accident, claiming them to be from the recent one. The actor however took to social media to clarify the rumours and wrote, “The rumours are little too spiced, here’s what actually happened. Dear media, please don’t attach my old accident pictures to the recent news.” (sic)

He also attached a note that reads, “10 days earlier, I was

injured

on the sets of Kalki while shooting a

stunt

sequence. I couldn’t take rest as we had to continue to shoot because of the huge combination of actors and they’re dates.” (sic) He added, “I have been receiving a lot of phone calls and messages from family, friends and my dear fans enquiring about my well being. Thank you so much for all your love!”

The actor also revealed in the note that the team, him and his family were heading to

Kullu Manali

for a schedule now. ‘Kalki’ which is being helmed by the director of ‘

Awe

’ and the ‘Queen’ remake starring Tamannaah, ‘That is Mahalakshmi’, will see stunts choreographed by Rabin Subbu and also star Adah Sharma, Nandita Swetha and Scarlett Wilson in lead roles.
