Rajasekhar’s yet another crime thriller film directed by his wife and former actress

’s ‘Shekar’ trailer is out now. The film is an official remake of the 2018 Malayalam crime thriller film ‘Joseph’. Actor Rajasekhar for the first time starring with his daughter Shivani Rajsekhar in a full-length role.
The film plot is reportedly said to discuss the murder of potential donors for the sake of organ transplantation and its scam. The film has also invited several criticisms for its content.
The film’s music has been composed by Anup Rubens, the cinematography is taken care of by
Mallikarjun Naragani
and its
Telugu
dialogues were written by Lakshmi Bhupala.
The original film was written by
Shahi Kabir and directed by M.Padma Kumar starring
Joju George, that talked about an investigative thriller, that developed through the life of four retired policemen. The original film is said to be inspired by a few real-life experiences of its writer. Which won several awards for its content.
The film is also being remade in Tamil as ‘Visithiran’ starring R.K.Suresh and in Kannada as ‘Ravi Bopanna’ starring V.Ravichandran. A Hindi remake of the above film is currently underway starring
Sunny Deol in the lead.
