Dulquer Salmaan's 'CIA' to be remade in Telugu, Vijay Devarakonda to play Ajippan

The much celebrated Dulquer Salmaan movie 'CIA' (Comrade in America) directed by Ashiq Abu is all set to be remade in Telugu. Titled as 'Dear Comrade', the Telugu version will be directed by Bharat Kamma.

will play the lead of Ajippan in the movie. The actor took to Instagram and revealed the first look poster of the movie. He captioned the picture, "Mythri Movie Makers. Big Ben Cinemas & Your Man @Thedeverakonda. Bring you an action drama you will not forget - #DearComrade directed by Bharat Kamma. Shoot starts this June."

Released in 2017, 'CIA' had a glittering star cast including Soubin Sahir, Karthika Muralidharan, Siddique, Dileesh Pothan in important roles. The cast for Telugu version is yet to be announced.
