Erica Fernandes to romance Aadi

Former Miss India finalist, Erica Fernandes, who was recently seen in the Hindi film Babloo Happy Hai, is all set to romance Aadi in his upcoming film. Naveen, a close associate of director Sampath Nandi, will be directing the movie. ���Sampath Nandi was in Mumbai a couple of months ago to audition for his upcoming film, Gabbar Singh 2. When I went to the audition, he told me that I was perfect for another film that he was going to produce.That���s how I bagged this role,��� reveals Erica. Apparently, Sampath didn���t want to direct the film since he���s too busy with the pre-production of Gabbar Singh 2. The principal shooting of this untitled movie, starring Aadi and Erica, has already begun and she���s expected to join the sets in March. ���I can���t talk much about the film. All I can say is that it���s a family entertainer with a twist,��� she says.
Earlier this year, Erica made her debut in Kannada opposite Puneet Rajkumar in Ninnindale, which didn���t do well at the box office. ���I think people had a different perspective on how the film is going to be. We insisted that it���s a simple love story, but sadly, the mass audience were disappointed. Nevertheless, I think I managed to garner a good fan following, thanks to this film,��� Erica confesses. The actress will soon team up with Darshan in another Kannada film titled Airavata. Meanwhile, her long delayed bilingual, Dega, might hit the screens later this year and she���s on the verge of signing another bilingual soon. ���For now, I���m concentrating on South films. I have at least two Telugu and Tamil movies releasing this year,��� she signs off.
