The actress recently attended a pre-release event in Hyderabad, where she surprised fans by speaking in Telugu. Fans are now drawing comparisons between her Telugu slang and that of her rumoured boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda.
At the pre-release event of 'Pushpa 2' in Hyderabad last night, Rashmika shared how important the film is to her and how Sukumar helped her bring full energy to the project.
A video of her conveying the same in Telugu was shared on X by a fan with the caption, “Nee slang dhimpesthundhi @TheDeverakonda ee @iamRashmika (Your slang is getting better, @TheDeverakonda, this is @iamRashmika.)”

Social media users soon began commenting that she might have picked up this Telugu accent from Vijay Deverakonda. One fan wrote, “Telangana slang motham vd leka ne untadhi imadhi,” while another Vijay Deverakonda fan posted, “Training is like this with my style ������The slang way of talking is all mine.”
The two were recently spotted having a meal together at a restaurant in the city, and fans are speculating that they might be spending more time together. They believe the similarity in slang is an example of this.
Vijay and Rashmika shared the screen together in the romantic drama 'Geetha Govindam' in 2018 and 'Dear Comrade' in 2019. Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated, and fans began requesting more films featuring the duo. They often go on vacations together and even attend family functions as well.
In a recent interview with Curly Tales, Vijay Deverakonda revealed that he is in a relationship with someone from the film industry and that they are good friends. He also mentioned that he cannot love someone unconditionally because he always has a lot of expectations.
