Faria Abdullah to be roped in as female lead for Vishnu Manchu's D&D?

actress Faria Abdullah has been roped in as the female lead for this film. A sequel to the 2007 hit film Dhee, D&D is being directed by Sreenu Vaitla.

"D&D team has been on the lookout for a female lead for quite some time now and Faria Abdullah fits the bill of what the team is looking for right now. Discussions are on between the actor and the producers and an official announcement is expected shortly," revealed a source from the film's unit. Vishnu Manchu

's careers and the sequel is also expected to be a laugh riot. Going by the poster, which showcases handcuffs, it is being speculated that D&D could be a cop drama.

Speaking about the film, Vishnu Manchu had earlier said, "Dhee is one of the favourite films for movie goers. The film was a game-changer for the entire cast and crew and gave way to a whole new wave of movies from the genre at the time. What could be better than Dhee? It is D&D (Double Dose)."
