, passes away due to coronavirus on Sunday. Sources suggested he has died in a private hospital in Hyderabad after a few days long battle with COVID-19.

According to the sources, he was rushed to the hospital when he had a fever a few days ago, but his condition worsened progressively with breathlessness. He was put on the ventilator and, he breathed his last on Sunday evening, sources added.

Bogari Laxmi Narayana had produced Edhureetha featuring Sravan Raghavendra and Jia Sharma in the lead roles. Balamurugan directed the flick, which also stars Noel, Leona Lishoy, Saanve Megghana, Sampath Raj and Bhadram in supporting roles.

Pokuri Rama Rao, one of the renowned Tollywood producers, died on July 3 at the age of 65 of complications from the coronavirus. He is the brother of famous producer Pokuri Babu Rao with whom he collaborated for some super hit films like Ranam, Yagnam and Ontari.

Further details are awaited, condolences to the family.

The epidemic has killed at least 846,448 people worldwide and infected about 2.5 million, according to a tally kept by Johns Hopkins University.
