It’s easy to label filmmakers, depending on the kind of films they tend to make most of the time and fit them into boxes they probably don’t like being forced into.

Looks like director

Mohan Indraganti

is one such

filmmaker

who would like his films and him to not be stereotyped, thank you very much! The ‘

Sammohanam

director

took to social media recently to make it clear that he does not appreciate being labelled as a ‘decent filmmaker’. He wrote, “I am sick and tired of being called a maker of ‘decent’ films. “Papam!!

Decent

films teesathadandi.” (sic)

He also added that not only does it make it seem like he has gotten nowhere, it also seems like the other filmmakers make ‘

indecent

’ films to make a quick buck. He wrote, “It sounds like I haven’t yet made it in life. What’s worse is the unintended implication that other filmmakers make ‘indecent’ films and make more money.” (sic) Ouch!

Making his debut with the award-winning film ‘

Grahanam

’, Mohan Indraganti has directed films like ‘Ashta Chamma’, ‘Gentleman’, ‘

Ami Thumi

’ and more recently, ‘Sammohanam’.
