. Chaitanya, who plays a part-time detective in the film, looks dapper in a blue shirt and grey trousers in the first. In another still, he’s seen standing next to Anu Emmanuel, who plays the female lead, even a fierce-looking Ramya Krishnan sits on a chair in front of them.
“The first look of #ShailajaReddyAlludu as promised by @DirectorMaruthiwho entertains me off screen as much as he is going to entertain you all onscreen .. always a pleasure working with @SitharaEnts , Anu Emmanuel .. Ramya Garu’s role is going to be something to watch out for! (sic),” Naga Chaitanya posted on his Twitter page, while releasing the first look of the film.
The film is touted as a family entertainer with plenty of comedy that’s synonymous with a Maruthi Dasari film. “The performances from the lead cast have been really powerful, especially Ramya Krishnan’s role in the film is one to watch out for. There’s going to be plenty of humour in the film as well, which will be the film’s USP,” director Maruthi said.
Ramya Krishnan will be essaying the role of Shailaja Reddy, while Naga Chaitanya plays her son-in-law.
