From Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India to Balakrishna’s NBK 106, 7 films in the pipeline for SS Thaman

Music director SS Thaman came onto the music scene in 2009 and has created a name for himself in the industry quickly. His music is distinctive and he has introduced a lot of new sounds to Telugu film music. He has scored music for more than 100 films in Telugu and Tamil. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is one of the biggest hits of 2020. But point to not is the way its makers had sold the film relying heavily on its songs, composed by Thaman. The talented musician has seven projects in the pipeline and let’s take a look at these films.

Talented beauty Keerthy Suresh will be next seen in the female-centric project titled Miss India. Directed by debutante Narendra Nath, the shooting of the film has been wrapped up a while ago and finally, and it will be hitting the screens in the Telugu states on March 6. Starring Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Bhanushree Mehra, Poojitha Ponnada, Kamal Kamaraju and Nadhiya in supporting roles, the music of the film is composed by S Thaman. Bankrolled by East Coast Productions, Miss India will feature Keerthy Suresh in multiple avatars across various timelines.

Nani has teamed up with Shiva Nirvana for his next film titled Tuck Jagadish. Thaman has been roped in to score music for this film. The film was launched recently in Hyderabad and shooting of the movie is progressing at a brisk pace. Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh have paired opposite Nani in the film. Prasad Murella is in charge of handling the camera while Prawin Pudi will edit the film. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are producing the film under Shine Screens banner.

Ravi Teja's upcoming action entertainer Krack, which went on to the floors last year, has music by S Thaman. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film is set to release on May 8. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of the movie. B Madhu is producing the film under Saraswathi Films Division Banner. Tamil actors Samuthirakani and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar will also star in important roles. GK Vishnu is cranking the camera while Navin Nooli is in charge of editing.

Sai Dharam Tej and Subbu are joining hands for the first time for Solo Brathuke So Better, which has music by SS Thaman. Nabha Natesh is paired opposite Sai Dharam in the film. The film also stars Sudharshan Reddy, Vennela Kishore and Satya in pivotal roles. Venkat C Dileep is handling the camera while Navin Nooli will edit the film. BVSN Prasad is producing the movie under the banner Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra LLP.

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu are all set to come together for a yet-untitled project and, the makers are working on the cast and crew of the film. Miryala Ravinder will bankroll the movie which has music by SS Thaman. The movie is said to be an action entertainer and the pre-production work of the film is currently in final stages. It will reportedly go on shooting floors from February 15 and will be aimed to be released in July 2020.

The pre-production work of Mahesh Babu’s 27^th film with Vamshi Paidipally is happening at a brisk pace. Since some time, there have been a lot of speculations about who the heroine of the film is going to be. But as of now, it is said that Kiara Advani has been roped in to play the leading lady of the film. An official confirmation about the actress is awaited. Meanwhile, the makers are busy roping in the technical crew for the film. A well-known music director SS Thaman has been roped in to compose tunes for this flick.

PSPK 26 will see Power Star Pawan Kalyan playing the lead role. They have also announced that the audience will get to see the film in theatres from May 11. Sources say SS Thaman has been chosen for the project now! The makers of PSPK 26 have decided to bring on-board Thaman. An official announcement regarding this should be made soon. It will be interesting to see whether the film lives up to all the hype that has been built up surrounding it. The film is being produced by Dil Raju in association with Bony Kapoor.
