The teaser trailer of 'Gaaya Padda Simham' has gone viral across social media platforms. A short dialogue from the teaser trailer has been gaining traction. The said scene is a witty conversation between the protagonists, served with satire. The tone is comical; however, it also provokes with a line that makes one wonder. The traiser (trailer+teaser) sets the tone of the film that highlights serious and relevant topics with an ample dash of humor.
'Pelli Choopulu' reference steals focus
In the second part of the traiser, a scene makes a direct reference to 'Pelli Choopulu'. Faria Abdullah’s character asks Tharun Bhascker’s character about the film, which he directed and acted in along with Vijay Deverakonda. Replying to this, he calls it “an average film that got overhyped,” but says it in a joking and self-mocking way. The moment looks like a clear self-joke and has been seen as a playful dig at his own cult hit. Fans quickly shared the clip, with many enjoying the honesty and humour behind the line.
Tharun clarifies the dialogue
Responding to the virality of the said line, Tharun later commented at a press conference. He mentioned that it was done for fun without any intention to hurt. He also whistled that Vijay Deverakonda would not be angry and that he would understand the humor behind the laugh, as he is a person with a great sense of humor.
