The film that is the remake of the Tamil hit ‘Jigarthanda’ has done good

in the Telugu states with the film’s theatrical value standing at Rs 25 Cr. It has had a successful run at the

‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ tells the story of Abhi (Atharvaa Murali), who wants to make a feature film with an antagonist as his lead. He finds the perfect muse in the ruthless Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Varun Tej). How he finally manages to make his debut forms the crux of the tale. Varun Tej did a stunning job as the dreaded Gangster and is seen in a whole new avatar in the film.

It remains to be seen how the film will fare in the coming days. Especially so because the film has time before Surender Reddy’s Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ releases on October 2.
