Shivaji, Saravanan, Livingston, Jayaprakash, and Kavithalaya Krishnan in key roles. It narrates the journey of a school teacher who struggles to unveil the truth behind child abuse connected to her father.

A 2018 biopic about the late actress Savitri, ‘Mahanati’ also depicts a journey of womanhood. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, featured Keerthy Suresh as Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan as Savitri's husband, Gemini Ganesan. Keerthy won the National Award for Best Actress for this film.

‘Saani Kaayidham’ is an action-crime movie directed by Arun Matheswaran. The film stars Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan as the main characters. The movie revolves around the revenge of Keerthy’s character towards a gang that brutally raped her in the past. It displays caste politics and survival.
