‘George Reddy’ actress Muskaan Khubchandani bags a crucial role in Akshay Kumar’s ‘Laxmmi Bomb’

Though the box-office performance of ‘George Reddy’ wasn’t satisfactory, the film did create an impact in the Telugu speaking states. Specially, the theatrical trailer struck the right chord among the netizens and generated good curiosity among the film fraternity and common audience. Based on the life of yesteryear Osmania University student leader George Reddy, the Jeevan Reddy directorial marked the debut of Muskaan Khubchandani as the leading lady.

The Uttar Pradesh-born actress played the dual role of Maya (1960s) and Muskaan (2019) in George Reddy and bagged good marks for a matured performance. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Muskaan has been roped in to essay a crucial role in Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film, Laxmmi Bomb. During her graduation days in Delhi University, Muskaan Khubchandani took up her passion for modelling as a hobby. With a fabulous figure, appealing screen-presence and consistent efforts, she turned out to become a popular model in no time and gradually emerged as the new face of the advertising world. While pursuing her MBA, she was signed to play a small role in the 2018 Bollywood blockbuster- Veere Di Wedding. She also has a notable theatrical experience.

While continuing her stint as a popular model in the world of commercials, Muskaan was spotted by renowned cinematographer Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti at an event. Impressed by her dazzling beauty and screen persona, the lensman recommended her name to ‘George Reddy’ director Jeevan Reddy and upon conducting an audition, she was finalised as the leading lady opposite Sandeep Madhav in the biopic. Almost all critics have described Muskaan as an eye-popping beauty with convincing acting chops.

Featuring Sandeep Madhav of Vangaveeti fame in the titular role, the intense film chronicles the best and inspiring moments of George Reddy’s life. The movie starts off with a US-based scholar (Muskaan) wanting to shoot a documentary on George. She travels all the way to India to meet George’s followers, friends, and document his life. From here on, a flashback reveals the story of a young George in Kerala.

According to reports, the sexy siren is all set to essay a crucial role in the upcoming Hindi film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ starring Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. Apparently, director Raghava Lawrence has shortlisted Muskaan after seeing her Instagram photos and called her for an audition following a screen test. Eventually, she is finalised for a substantial and challenging role which is kept under wraps. Besides films, the hot beauty is a trained Kathak dancer with expertise in several dance forms, gymnastics and calisthenics.
