After both the Telugu state governments have granted permissions for film shoots,
Gopichand
’s Seetimaarr is all set to resume shoot from first week of August.
As
actor Gopichand
will be celebrating his birthday on Friday, the film’s team announced that they’re planning to wrap up the entire shooting in one long schedule, beginning from first week of August. Producer of the film, Srinivasa Chitturi, said that the team is prepping to complete the film as soon as possible as fans of the actor will be waiting for it.
Seetimaarr is a sports drama which will see Gopichand play the role of a
kabaddi coach for the Andhra team while Tamannaah plays the coach of the Telangana team.
Digangana Suryavanshi will be seen as a village belle who falls for him. Posani Krishnamurali, Rao Ramesh, Bhumika, Rehaman, Tarun and Arora and more play key roles in the film.
The first look of Tamannaah which earlier released sees her play Jwala Reddy. Seetimaarr will see music by
Mani Sharma and sees Gopichand and Tamannaah teaming up for the first time. Sampath Nandi, who’s directing the film has already worked with Tamannaah for Racha and
Bengal Tiger
. This is his second film with Gopichand after Goutham Nanda too. Further details are awaited.
Seetimaarr was launched right before the release of Gopichand’s spy thriller Chanakya in October. The film’s muhurat got its first clap from Boyapati Srinu and it was announced even then that Tamannaah will play the coach of an all-girls hockey team.
