Actor and veteran comedian Brahmanandam
was born on February 1, 1956, in Sattenapalli, Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh. Brahmanandam is known for his quirky comedy timing, and facial expressions enjoyed a long career which began in 1987 in which he worked with all the leading actors and directors. Brahmanandam is one of those very few celebs in Telugu cinema who've achieved the stat status and stardom owing to his craft and immense popularity.

Brahmanandam's first role
in a Tollywood film was in the 1987 movie titled Aha Naa Pellanta, which was directed by Jandhyala. He essayed the role of Ara Gundu who always afraid of his owner played by Kota Srinivasa Rao. With the success of the film, Brahmanandam sealed his spot in T-Town.

Guinness Book of World Records
for the most screen credits for a living actor in India. He has starred in more than 1,000 films to date. He received six Nandi Awards for Money, Anna, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Vinodham, Ready and Race Gurram. He also won Filmfare, CineMAA and SIIMA Awards for his portrayal of the comedian.
