On 6 June 2019, the Telugu veteran shared an old picture on his Instagram handle where he is seen standing and keeping his hand around his nephew Naga Chaitanya's shoulder, who is seen as a teenager then. In the photo, Daggubati Ramanaidu is seen beside the two and looking at them affectionately.
He captioned the picture with, "You are with us more than ever Nanna as we make your dream come true. Miss you more than ever too. Happy Birthday!"

Venkatesh also shared a poster of the film 'Venky Mama' in the post. The film was the first on-screen collaboration between Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya. The movie turned out to be a massive success as the action comedy film collected over Rs 42.70 crore in India and over Rs 58.70 crore worldwide.
Daggubati Venkatesh's recent success at the box office
On the work front, Daggubati Venkatesh was last seen in the 2025 superhit 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam'. The movie became the veteran star's first film to gross Rs 100 crore at the box office. The movie directed by Anil Ravipudi starred Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads.
Interestingly, he will also be seen playing a special role in Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara's upcoming movie 'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu'. The movie will be a family entertainer, also directed by Anil Ravipudi.
