Actor Nithiin, who turns 39 on Wednesday, has proved himself as the heartthrob of Telugu cinema with his good looks and a few romantic films. He has been one of the beloved actors in the industry. Nithiin made his acting debut as a lead actor with the 2002 release Jayam, which turned out to be a massive box office success, resulting in him becoming an overnight sensation. Ishq

'Ishq' was the first time Nithiin and Nithya Menen acted together. The Vikram Kumar directed film revolves around the life of Rahul. This is the story of Rahul, who meets Priya for the first time and falls head over heels. The film allowed Nithiin to break free from his boy-next-door image and play a more sophisticated character. It’s just not another love story. It’s one of the most mature love stories to come out of Telugu cinema.

The Vikram Kumar Konda directorial was not just financial success but also critically acclaimed. He aced the role of Rahul in this romantic comedy entertainer.

A Aa

'A Aa' may have given Samantha Ruth Prabhu her career-best role yet but the film also tapped the hidden potential of Nithiin as a performer. Both Samantha and Nithiin complemented each other so well in roles we haven’t seen them essaying up until then. The Trivikram Srinivas directorial featured Nithiin in the role of a former chef sacrificing his love to make things better while trying to cope up with his life. Nithiin was brilliant as was the rest of the cast.

Bheeshma

'Bheeshma' saw Nithiin play a very laid-back character with no big dreams in life. Nithiin essayed the role named Bheeshma who falls in love with an employee of Bheeshma Organics develops an interest in organic farming. While the film impressed audiences and critics alike with its interesting screenplay, story and music, it also extracted the best out of Nithiin in an out-and-out comic yet stylish avatar. The Venky Kudumula directed film was a critical and commercial success.
