Rashmika, recognised for her astounding performances and exceptional skills, began her career in Tollywood with the film Chalo, in which she co-starred with Naga Shaurya. Mandanna played L Karthika the love interest of Hari (Shaurya) in the movie. Karthika is a girl next door and is funny and chirpy. With the humongous success of her debut film, Rashmika not only became a household name but also inked her name on the list of one of the most sought after actresses.

Geetha Govindam
'Geetha Govindam' is a 2018 Tollywood romantic comedy entertainer. Parasuram Petla directed the film. Geetha, played by Rashmika, is the main character. The film is packed with romance, with a dash of humour and emotion thrown in for good measure. This was Mandanna’s third feature film. In the film, she plays the love interest of Vijay Govind (Vijay Deverakonda), who doesn't make a great impression on Govind falling in love with him for his innocence and purity. This film also gave us the oh-so-wonderful couple of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, on-screen.

According to Rashmika, she took this film because she wanted to break her image of the girl next door. And yet again she proved she is versatile and multi-talented. She played the role of ‘Samskruthi’, the love interest of Major Ajay Krishan. Though her role was short but watching her in that role is a delight. She looked absolutely stunning in the movie, and especially in the song "Mind Block" she set the stage on fire with her performance.

The romantic comedy directed by Venky Kudumula featured Rashmika in yet another interesting role, and this time she was seen romancing Nithiin. The actress perfectly portrayed the role of love interest to Bheeshma, the CEO of Bheeshma Organics. Be it her panache, her style statement or the emotional quotient, everything about Mandanna’s performance as Chaitra in Bheeshma was on point.
