​Gold medal winner


He achieved a remarkable feat by earning a gold medal for his M.Sc. in Nuclear Physics from Andhra University. He had no plan to enter the entertainment industry. Later on, he ventured into the world of Indian cinema, specifically in Telugu cinema, where he made a name for himself as a film director and screenwriter. His contributions have been so significant that he is considered one of the highest-paid directors in South Indian cinema. Throughout his career, he has been honored with numerous awards, including six state Nandi Awards for Best Dialogue Writer and two Filmfare Awards for Best Director. In recognition of his substantial impact on Indian cinema, he was also honored with the BN Reddy National Award in 2015.

​Friendship goals


Trivikram and actor Sunil faced the challenges of the film industry together and even shared a house during their initial days in the industry. Interestingly, their connection goes even deeper as they both got married on the same day. Yes, you read that right! Director Trivikram Srinivas and comedian Sunil are not just best friends; they are inseparable. Their friendship is evident on any occasion. His birth name is Akella Naga Srinivas Sharma and he hails from Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh. He later adopted the pen name Trivikram for his career. He is widely recognized among Telugu audiences by the nicknames 'Maatala Maantrikudu' (meaning "Wizard of Words") and "Guruji" (meaning "The Master"). His unique filmmaking style is characterized by his creative and clever dialogue, humor, fast-paced conversations combined with action sequences, references to mythology, exploration of courtship and relationship dynamics, and the incorporation of philosophical concepts from Hinduism into mainstream popular cinema. His films are celebrated for their ability to seamlessly weave these elements into engaging stories.
