Hyper

as well — I play a simple girl called Bhanumathi. These traditional names make the characters sound so much more intriguing, right?”


Elaborating on her role in Hyper, she says: “Bhanumathi is a simple, conservative girl from a miserly family. But then, she undergoes a complete transition in the course of the film. She changes from the coy girl who wears only full-sleeved clothes to an outgoing fashionista, who is unafraid to speak her mind — it’s almost like a double role.”


Ram

is a friend now

We worked together before, but since we are both reserved by nature, we didn’t really get to know each other the last time around. After this film though, I can safely say that Ram is my friend.

This role helped me open up
I don’t think I can ever woo a guy the way Bhanumathi woos Srinu in Hyper. So it was tough to carry off the role. As an actor, this role has helped me open up a lot more.
