Divi Vadthya spoke openly about her role in
Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ directed by
Sukumar. The actress recently shared that she was “not at all” happy with how her role came out. She mentioned that when the film was first pitched to her, she believed it would be a big and important role. However, she felt very disappointed because what she saw on screen was not what she expected at all.

While speaking with the Visual Talks Podcast, Divi said, “Not at all. When it was pitched to me, I was told that it would be a big role.” She added that she had high hopes after the teaser “Where is Pushpa?” came out. But things changed when she watched the full movie. She said, “But when the film was released, I realised that’s not happening.”

Shocked after watching the film
Talking about her feelings, Divi Vadthya also added, “Yeah, I felt bad. But who will care about my pain? You just have to pat yourself on the back and move on.” She also said she went to the theatre with ten friends, thinking it would be very good.
“I know I dubbed for the film for 10 days and shot for 20 days. I know I acted really well. But I was shocked after watching the film,” she said.
Her role was Minnu Uma Devi, a reporter who follows Pushpa Raj, played by Allu Arjun.
The movie also featured Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles.
Who is Divi Vadthya?
Divi Vadthya became popular after Bigg Boss Telugu 4. She stayed on the show until the seventh week. After that, she acted in films like ‘Maa Neella Tank’ and ‘Godfather’. She was also seen recently in ‘Honey’. With respect to ‘Pushpa 2,’ the film turned out to be the biggest Indian film of 2024, collecting over Rs 1700 crore worldwide. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
On the other hand, after 'Pushpa 2', Allu Arjun is all set for tentatively titled 'AA22xA6' directed by the 'Jawan' fame Atlee.
