‘Jana Nayagan’ audio launch: Malavika Mohanan cheers for Thalapathy Vijay ahead of event; calls herself a ‘Thalapathy fan girl’

Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay will be seen in the upcoming political action drama, ‘Jana Nayagan’. Ahead of the film's release during the Sankranti festive window, the movie is set for a grand audio launch in Malaysia. Not his fans, but it seems that his co-stars are also excited for the event, as his ‘Master’ co-star Malavika Mohanan shared she will be cheering for him and the team.Actress Malavika Mohanan took to her X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote, “Before my day gets busy with my own movie’s pre-release event, I want to take a moment to express my excitement for the audio launch of #JanaNayagan.” The ‘Raja Saab’ actress also mentioned that it was an honour to act with the Tamil superstar. “It’s been an absolute honour to have worked with Vijay sir & and even bigger honour to be able to call him a friend. He is a special person in every sense of the word,” she added. Mohanan also called herself a “Thalapathy fan girl” as she promised to cheering him and the team like millions of his fans, “I will be cheering for him & the entire team of the film like millions of fans from across the globe. Now and always, A Thalapathy fan girl,” she wrote. Malavika Mohanan co-starred with Thalapathy Vijay in the 2021 superhit, ‘Master’, which also featured Vijay Sethupathi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. For the unversed, the film's audio launch event is scheduled to take place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, today, 27 December 2025.The Tamil star arrived in Malaysia with his team, including director H Vinoth, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, and female lead Pooja Hegde, among other cast and crew.On the other hand, Malavika Mohanan is gearing up for her Telugu debut in the Prabhas starrer horror comedy film ‘The Raja Saab’, which is set to clash with ‘Jana Nayagan’ on January 9, 2026.The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani in key roles.
