Janhvi Kapoor on stepping out of her comfort zone
In a conversation with PTI, Janhvi Kapoor shared that she enjoys taking up roles that challenge her as an actor. According to the actress, experimenting with unfamiliar characters helps her grow both personally and professionally.
“It excites me, I think, and that part of my job that I like the most is where you get to explore things that are out of your comfort zone. And to know who you really are, I think that’s when you grow as an artist,” she said.
Janhvi also spoke about dealing with expectations in the film industry. She said she prefers focusing on her work rather than overthinking about pressure.
“I think I'm trying to focus more on the work and I think I look at it more like responsibility and not like pressure,” she shared.
The actress added that she wants to honour the love audiences give actors by always putting her best foot forward.
“I think it is a responsibility to give every opportunity your best and to do your best in whatever you’re doing,” Janhvi said.
