The nation mourns as Ramoji Rao, the founder of Eenadu and Ramoji Film City, passes away while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad. His death at the age of 87 has prompted an outpouring of condolences from state and national political leaders, as well as prominent figures from the film industry paid heartfelt tributes on social media.

Jr NTR shared his deep sadness on X (formerly known as Twitter), recalling how Ramoji Rao was a visionary and a giant in Indian cinema. He wrote, "Visionaries like Sri Ramoji Rao are one in a million. A media tycoon and a giant of Indian cinema, his absence is irreparable. The news that he is no longer with us is very sad. I will never forget the memories when I was introduced to the Telugu film industry with the film 'Ninnu Chhadalani'. May his soul rest in peace and convey my deepest condolences to his family."

Megastar Chiranjeevi also expressed his sadness by sharing a heartfelt tribute. He likened Rao to Mount Meru, an unshakeable and revered figure. He posted, "Mount Meru, which does not bow to anyone.. Divi Kegindi Om Shanti".

Manoj Manchu, who has long admired Ramoji Rao since childhood, reflected on the media tycoon’s remarkable journey and legacy. He shared, "Deeply saddened by the loss of Ramoji Rao Garu. Since I was a child, I always looked up to him. His remarkable journey and legacy inspire us all. May his soul rest in peace. Sending strength to the family and loved ones. Om Shanti Will miss you dearly sir."

Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas described Ramoji Rao as the godfather and pride of the Telugu film industry, highlighting his profound influence and the inspiration he provided to many. He expressed "#RamojiRao garu is the godfather, pride of Telugu film industry and my true inspiration. I am shattered after learning the news of his demise and extend my deepest condolences to his family. His remarkable legacy will inspire generations. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti."

Vishnu Manchu shared his profound sadness over Ramoji Rao’s passing. He posted, "Deeply saddened by the passing of Ramoji Rao garu. Every time I had the fortune of meeting him, it was a profound life-learning lesson. His wisdom, courage, and righteousness left an indelible mark on me. He also was always supportive for the film industry. He built an empire that set unparalleled standards in journalism and entertainment.
