K K Rajeev enters film industry

His audience constitutes a bevy of dedicated housewives who would not mind forsaking their household chores for his television soaps. The king of television soaps, K K Rajeev, after giving mini-screen hits like Peythozhiyathe, Swapnam, Avicharitham, Amma Manassu, Kudumbayogam, Mazhayariyathe, and Vadakaku Oru Hridayam, has finally stepped into the film industry with his first family movie Njanum Ente Familiyum, starring Jayaram and Mamta Mohandas.

Besides Jayaram and Mamta, the film has Manoj K Jayan, Mythili and Jagathy Sreekumar essaying prominent roles in the movie. Not leaving behind his television serial team, Rajeev has cinematographer Vaidy S Pillai joining him in his first venture in the film industry. Rajeev, during the audio launch of the movie, stated, ���������This movie is an answer to many people���������s long-standing question,���������Why not a movie now?������������������ The director is also set to name his next project with actor Prithviraj.
