'Kalki 2898 AD' to have an IMAX release in the USA and Canada: Report

Prabhas starer 'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin, is eagerly awaited by fans, especially in Tollywood. Now exciting news has emerged regarding the film's release in IMAX theaters in North America and the UK.

According to Sacnilk, the distributors in the USA and Canada have confirmed its screening in IMAX format. Viewers in these regions can catch the Telugu version in the USA and the Hindi version in Canada, with premieres and a special show on the first day.

However, there's no official word yet on an IMAX release in India. Reports suggest that besides the regular 2D format, the film might also be available in 3D here. Adding to the excitement, the makers recently teased fans with glimpses of an animated prelude titled 'Bujji and Bhairava'. They even organized a grand event to unveil an AI special vehicle owned by Prabhas' character Bhairava, named Bujji, with Keerthy Suresh lending her voice to the vehicle.

There are speculations about cameo appearances by Dulquer Salmaan and Vijay Deverakonda in the movie. With a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, 'Kalki 2898 AD' promises to be a visual treat. The music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

'Kalki 2898 AD' will be released on June 27 in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil.
