'Kalki' trailer sees Dr Rajasekhar at his witty best!

in lead role is one of the most-awaited films thanks to the director and actor’s previous films ‘Awe’ and ‘PSV Garuda Vega’.

was attached to ‘Maharshi’ today in theatres with ‘Jersey’ star Nani releasing the trailer on social media Thursday evening. He shared the video and wrote, “Wishing team #Kalki all the very best and looks like our boy @PrasanthVarma has a big success under his sleeve :) @ActorRajasekhar sir’s swag. The 1-minute-10-seconds long trailer sees a sadhu talk about karma and its repercussions. While not revealing much, the trailer also hints at a crime drama, which is to be solved by Dr Rajasekhar’s character, who’s a cop in the film. Apart from Dr Rajasekhar, the film will also star Adah Sharma, Nanditha Swetha, Poojitha Ponnada, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Rahul Ramakrishna, Nassar, Ashtosh Rana, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Shatru, Charandeep, Venugopal, Vennela Ramarao, D.S. Rao, Amith Sharma and Sathish (Bunty) in key roles.

The trailer also hints at the film being a far cry from the kind of indie subject Prasanth chose to make his debut film. The director too, calling it a ‘commercial trailer’ shared on his social media, “When you are in Rome..Kalki ‘Commercial’ Trailer!! Hope u all like it..” (sic) while the lead actor wrote, “Big Thankss from Team Kalki and me for launching our Commercial Trailer Nani Garu. We love you! @NameisNani” (sic)
