In 2009, Kangana Ranaut played the female lead opposite Prabhas in the Telugu film 'Ek Niranjan.' Following that, Kangana primarily focused on her Bollywood career, which saw her rise to stardom with an array of critically acclaimed performances. However, the question of whether she would consider acting alongside Prabhas once more, should a sequel to 'Ek Niranjan' be made, surfaced during the promotional event for 'Chandramukhi 2.'

To the delight of fans and the curiosity of the media, Kangana Ranaut responded with enthusiasm, expressing her eagerness to collaborate with Prabhas again. She said, "I would love to work with him (Prabhas). He is very happy with his success. He became a pan India star. We were very young when we did that film (Ek Niranjan). He was very hospitable. We were given excellent food at the farm house. He is a very compassionate person. We had a lot of fun. We are also very playful. Affectionate people. Now if I get a chance to work with him... I will. Would love to meet him too. It has been almost ten years with him. I am very happy to see how he has grown as a person and as an actor. I wish him all the best."
