Preity Mukundhan grabbed eyeballs for her impeccable acting in Vishnu Manchu’s pan-Indian project Kannappa recently. The young actress, with only three films released, has already acted alongside top stars like Prabhas and Akshay Kumar. She recently opened up about her experience working with Prabhas and how she opted to play the role in Kannappa.

In an interview with News18, Preity called her way to Kannappa very unexpected and unplanned. She shared that as a girl from Trichy, she has managed to be in the mammoth project and has no idea how she got there. “I can’t credit myself for all of it, some things just find you,” she added. Preity admitted that she loves to challenge herself and is open to growth. “Even if it’s uncomfortable growth, I don’t shy away from it. I keep auditioning,” she stated.

The young actress didn’t hold back while speaking about her experience working with Prabhas in the movie. “He has this powerful aura, even in silence, and that’s very evident on screen. Every dialogue he said was so intense, and in real life, he is sweet and kind—very gentle, not loud, keeps to himself, but makes everyone around him feel at ease. We all know he is one of the biggest stars in the country, but he doesn’t make you feel small. He is just a genuine person who respects everyone with kindness,” she revealed.

Preity has multiple projects lined up. She is currently working on four movies, all of which are set to be released this year. She will soon share screen space with Harish Kalyan, Ashok Selvan, Ithayam Murali, and Atharvaa in different Tamil movies.

Her next Malayalam movie is titled Maine Pyaar Kiya, alongside Hridhu Haroon. It is scheduled for release on August 29. She will also share screen space with Nivin Pauly in Sarvam Maya. Prabhas will be next seen in 'The Raja Saab'.
