Kartikeya, Lavanya Tripathi have online workshop with Chavu Kaburu Challaga director

Debutant Koushik Pegallapati has an upcoming film called

Chavu Kaburu Challaga

with Karthikeya and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles and the director decided to take an

online workshop

for them during lockdown.

Lavanya Tripathi shared pictures of the front page of the

script

yesterday and revealed that she was brushing up on it ‘in between breaks!’. Soon, director Koushik shared a

screenshot

of himself,

Kartikeya

and Lavanya, writing, “Three of us in work mode. @actorkartikeya @itsmelavanya #ckc #teamwork.” (sic) Looks like the trio had a fruitful session because Kartikeya too shared a pic of their online workshop together.

The film produced by Bunny Vas was announced in December 2016, with the film being touted as ‘crazy’ and ‘unique’. Kartikeya plays the role of Basthi Balaraju in the film and his

first-look

in a lungi was received well by fans. Shoot for the film was underway when the pandemic hit. Kartikeya made his debut as an antagonist with Gang Leader before he began shooting for this, with his previous films Hippi, Guna 369 and 90 ML failing to make a mark.

Lavanya on the other hand has been busy during lockdown, teaming up with designer Anitha Reddy to make cotton masks. She got them done in various prints and colours to distribute them to the cops and the film industry. The actress will also soon be seen in

A1 Express

with Sundeep Kishan, in which she will essay the role of a

hockey player

. The actress also said in a recent interview that she luckily has all her scripts at home which she has been going over during lockdown.
