Kavya Thapar joins the cast of Ram Pothineni's 'Double I Smart'

Actress Kavya Thapar, who was last seen in the Tamil film 'Pichhaikaran 2', has now signed up for her next Telugu film with actor Ram Pothineni. The actress is said to play the female lead in the upcoming film 'Double Ismart'. Directed by Puri Jagannath, the film stars Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles, and the actress will be playing the love interest of the actor in the film. The official announcement is yet to be made.

Double Ismart is a sequel to the Telugu film Ismart Shankar, and the movie will be released in 2024 in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. On the work front, apart from 'Double Ismart', the actress is also part of the cast of 'Eagle', which stars Ravi Teja in the lead role.

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, 'Eagle' is an action film starring Ravi Teja, Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, and Madhoo in lead roles. The teaser of the film was released a couple of days ago, and the movie is all set for its release on the big screens on January 13 for Sankranti 2024.
